GeoRovia privacy policy
GeoRovia is designed to work without an account. This policy explains what is stored in your browser and what limited technical data may be processed.
Local game data
Your active route, completed results, streak, travel passport, language, map mode, sound, and motion preferences are stored locally in your browser. This data is not automatically synchronized between devices.
Analytics
If privacy-compliant analytics are enabled, GeoRovia may record aggregate events such as page views, game starts, route-step feedback type, hint level, completion, sharing, and rendering fallback. Analytics must not include the countries in your route, search text, precise location, or directly identifying information.
Cookies and similar storage
Essential browser storage is used to preserve game progress and settings. Any non-essential analytics or advertising technology will require the consent mechanism applicable to the visitor’s region before activation.
Third-party services
Hosting, content delivery, and optional analytics providers may process standard technical request data such as timestamps, browser information, and IP addresses under their own security and retention controls.
Your choices
You can reset today’s route, clear statistics and passport data, or remove all GeoRovia local data from the game settings. You can also clear site data using your browser controls.
Policy updates and contact
Material policy changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date. A public contact address must be added before production analytics or advertising is enabled.
